Hot Picks -My Top 5 'Body Shop' Products

So for this weeks Hot Picks I have chosen the brand 'The Body Shop'.

The body shop is another brand that I absolutely love! All of their products are just so luxurious and smell AMAZING! I have picked 5 products which I absolutely love and continue to go back and buy all the time.

1) Moringa Body Butter - No surprises that this is one of The Body Shops best sellers! It has a really nice floral scent and it just smells AMAZING! It leaves your skin feeling super soft and smooth and smelling lovely all day!! £13 from HERE.
2) Moringa Shower Gel - Can you tell that I'm into the whole Moringa range? Once again this smells AMAZING and it lathers up really well, you really do only require a tiny amount! 60ml for £2, 250ml for £4 & 750ml for £12, all from HERE.
3) Wild Rose Hand Cream With SPF15 - This hand cream is one of the best I have ever used! It leaves your hands hydrated all day with only the tiniest amount of product! This is one of my everyday staple products and I think it will be for a long long time! It smells great too! It does say that it is for mature skin and it is suppose to minimise brown spots but who cares if it does what I want it to do? 30ml for £5 and 100ml for £10 from HERE
4) Mango Body Scrub - I love anything that smells of mango so this was a must have product for me! It is great at removing dead skin cells and leaving your skin soft without the feeling that you've ripped 10 layers of skin off! £12.50 from HERE.
5)Vineyard Peach Lip Gloss - I haven't tried anything else from this range but if the lipgloss is anything to go by then I will be super happy! Every time I have it on my lips I want to lick it all off!! It smells that good! It does actually taste really nice too... I obviously had to try it!! It lasts ages for a gloss and it is super super glossy too! £7 from HERE.
What are your favourite Body Shop items? Can you recommend anything I should give a try?

Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Moisturiser Review

I have been using the 'Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Moisturiser' for at least a year now! It has to be one of my all time favourite moisturisers and the one that I continue to go back to.

It claims to leave your skin feeling hydrated for up to 7 days. This is the claim that sold this product to me! I am quite lazy so anything that claims to make my life easier or means that I don't have to use it as much is perfect for me!

It comes in 5 different variations so there is a bottle suitable for everyone. I have the dry to extra dry skin bottle, although I don't have really dry skin I figured that this would provide even more benefits! This particular bottle contains Shea Butter and L-Bifidus which have been specifically chosen to combat dry skin and prevent moisture loss. The variations the product comes in are:

- Dry to extra dry skin - containing Shea Butter & L Bifidus
- Normal skin - containing Aloe Vera
- Dry and rough skin - containing Cocoa Butter
- Dry skin - containing Mango Oil
- Sensitive skin - containing Calming Honey

It also comes in two sizes, small & large. The small size is 250ml and the large is 400ml.

I love applying this product to my body as it absorbs into the skin really quickly, meaning there is no waiting around before you can get dressed! It smells lovely too, it is a very fresh, floral fragrance and it lingers on the skin. It immediately makes your skin feel hydrated and eliminates any rough, dry patches you may have. You do need to use this for 7 days to get the full benefits of it. I did notice a major improvement in my skins condition after 7 days, although I didn't think my skin was dehydrated in the first place as I do use moisturisers/body butters every day, it must have been, as after 7 days it felt so different and in an overall better condition.. really hydrated, silky smooth and I didn't have any dry patches! I even use this on my feet as the soles can become a bit dry now and again and this eliminates that too!

On the bottle, it recommends using for 1 month and then you can stop moisturising for a whole week and your skin should still feel as soft and hydrated as when using it. I now use this product twice a week after showering and this helps to maintain a high level of hydration at all times. I use other lotions/body butters the other days of the week as a kind of top up. As you know, I like to change my moisturiser often so that is the only reason I do not use this every day of the week.

The small size of this is currently for sale at Boots for £2.09 and the large for £3.33. (These prices are discounted - they are usually, small £3.14 and large £4.99) Even when they are not on offer, they are great prices for a product that has all the benefits that this has! To take a look at the whole range click HERE. At Boots, they are offering a free gift with selected skincare items and the Garnier Intensive 7 Days is included.

My Top 10 Speedy Beauty Tips

We've all been there, the alarm has gone off and you've repeatedly pressed the snooze button until your running so late you have to sacrifice makeup or breakfast. If you're anything like me, you won't think twice before you decide to skip breakfast. Now, I'm not saying these tips will solve all your problems but they sure might leave you 5 minutes to grab a bite to eat!

My Top Ten Speedy Beauty Tips:

Tip 1 - Hate waiting for your newly painted nails to dry? After applying a top coat, wait 30 seconds before running a bowl of cold water and submerging your hands fully for 1 minute and hey presto, dry nails without the wait.

Tip 2 - Do you get a red shaving rash after shaving? One way to avoid this is to stand under the warm shower water for a good 5 minutes. This helps soften the hairs and makes them easier to shave away, meaning no nasty red rash. I also like to apply baby oil before I dry myself after a shower, the oil helps to lock in the moisture and leaves your skin silky smooth. Another good tip for shaving rash, especially under the arms or on the bikini line is to apply deodorant to the area as soon as you have shaved, it will stop the prickly bumps/rash from appearing.

Tip 3 - Need your lip colour to last all day long? Try applying foundation or concealer to the lips before applying your choice of lip product. It acts as a primer and gives the lip colour something to stick to.

Tip 4- Run out of nail polish remover? Place a clear top coat on the nail and remove with a cotton pad straight away. Make sure to do one nail at a time as it needs to be removed whilst wet.

Tip 5 - Can't find your hair serum or even worse you've run out? Don't panic! Use a pea sized amount of baby oil and smooth through the ends of your hair. Shiny silky hair in a flash.

Tip 6 - No time to wash your hair? Take some talcum powder or even loose face powder and swirl a brush round, tap the brush to get rid of excess and apply to the roots. This will soak up any grease and nobody will know you slept in,

Tip 7 - Just about to head out the door and you break your nail? Don't rip it off and think you have to spend time sorting your manicure out when your already half an hour late. Apply a small amount of super glue over the torn part, wait for it to dry and then buff with a nail file. If you have time then you can go over this with nail polish but if not it should hold until you have time to sort it fully.

Tip 8 - Have you woken up with brows that don't seem to want to behave? Take a clean toothbrush, spray hairspray onto the bristles and gentle brush your brows to tame them. The hair spray will keep them tamed all day long.

Tip 9 - Have you woken up to a fake tan disaster? Streaky legs and orange arms? Make an exfoliating paste by mixing baking soda with water and rubbing over the affected areas. This should gently start to remove the fake tan and leave you looking a little less Umpa Lumpa. If the baking soda alone isn't enough then you can apply the baking soda paste to half a lemon and rub over the skin.

Tip 10 - Looked in the mirror and your face resembles flaky pastry? If your foundation has gone cakey don't panic, use a clean damp sponge all over the face paying to smooth out the foundation, make sure you blend it all in and you're as good as new!

What tricks do you use when your in a rush? Would you like to see more of this type of post?

Handmade Soaps Review

A few weeks ago, a lovely lady from a small business known as 'Handmade Soaps & Aroma Beads' offered me some of her handmade soaps at a discounted rate for me to try and review. She is based in Oxfordshire but has a Facebook page (Click HERE) and a website (Click HERE) selling all of her products and for a small fee she will post to anywhere in the UK. As you can see from the name, she sells an extensive range of handmade soaps and aroma beads. There really is something for everyone and every occasion.

All of the soaps came beautifully wrapped and in a cardboard box with foam pieces to protect them in transit. Not one of the soaps I received was broken. This just shows the amount of care and time that goes into making these soaps. They would be ideal for presents or even just to brighten up your bathroom.

I have tested each soap in the same way and used each one for the same length of time.

1) Berry Cupcake Soap (Comes In A Pink Gift Box) - The design of this soap is AMAZING! It looks good enough to eat. It looks so good that I didn't want to use it! The only parts that aren't soap are the butterflies and the little roses. It's a very pretty girly soap and would make an ideal present. It even comes in a lovely gift box! It has a sweet, summery, berry scent that is strong enough to translate to the skin after washing but it is not too overpowering. It also made my bathroom smell lovely! The soap itself lathers very well and leaves your skin feeling clean but without the sticky residue that some soaps can leave. It also isn't drying but instead leaves the skin feeling really soft, almost as though you have put moisturiser on your hands! There are 3 more scents in the berry cupcake range, Lemongrass, Lavender & Sea Breeze. I haven't tried any of the other scents but I imagine them to be just as brilliant! These soaps are priced at £2.99 each which I think it great value for something so pretty AND handmade!

2) Baby Flower Lotus Soap - This soap comes in two colours, pink & blue, they are each scented with baby powder! I love love love the scent of baby powder! I have had this soap in my hand for the past 10 minutes just smelling it! The scent is such a happy scent and makes me want to smile: -) The design is so sweet, it is a lotus flower with a tiny baby curled up in the middle. This would make a perfect gift for someone who has just had a baby.. pink for a girl & blue for a boy! The soap has an amazing lather and as the petals of the lotus flower are '3D' it acts as a great hand massager. Each time I used this I stood at the sink for ages giving my hands a nice massage. As with the other soaps, it left my hands feeling lovely and clean without drying them or leaving any residue. The best thing about this soap to me is the scent and the fact that it lingers for a long time after using! For £1.85 this is an absolute bargain! I would even just buy this soap to smell!!

 3) Cocktail Soap Complete With Soap Ice Cubes - The cocktail soaps come in 3 scents, Orange, Lemon & Strawberry. I was sent the Orange one to try. Each of them come complete with ice cubes (made out of soap) and a cocktail umbrella and straw (not soapy). This soap has a very strong scent of Orange (well what else were you expecting it to smell of?) and once again the scent lingers on the hands after washing. It doesn't smell as if you have just peeled an orange though which is great as although I like that scent I don't think I would want a soap to leave my hands smelling like that. It does, however, smell of a more summery, fresher, cleaner orange. What I like about this soap is the fact that even after a few uses it doesn't disintegrate and it looks as good as it did when it was removed from the packaging. It lathers just as well as the others and leaves your hands clean and soft. Each cocktail soap costs £3.49 and comes in a gift bag.

4) Grumpy Looking Bee Soap - This soap contains real honey and cocoa butter. The smell of the honey doesn't come through straight away but after a few uses you can smell it strongly. If you don't like honey then this isn't the soap for you. But, for those of you who do like honey, this is a great soap which leaves the skin feeling super soft and cared for. This is a great novelty soap and would be great for kids. What better way to encourage your kids to wash their hands than a grumpy bee? This soap had the best lather out of all the ones I tested. This is for sale for £2.50 which is a great price for the amount of soap you get!

5) Flower Pot Soap - The flower pot soap comes in two different colours, pink & yellow, complete with green moss and a sprinkle of glitter to add a dewy effect. I have the yellow one out of this range. This is a gorgeous soap and looks stunning placed on the bathroom sink. It has a beautiful floral fragrance that makes the bathroom smell lovely, it also makes your skin smell lovely too and as with all of the others the smell lingers. It is very moisturising to the skin and doesn't leave any nasty residue behind. It is also easy to use - by this I mean that it isn't so slippery that you keep dropping it in the sink. It also holds its shape very well and even during the hot weather we have been having in the UK recently it hasn't melted at all. The flower pot soaps are priced at £3.99 each.

6) Cookie Soap - This is another soap that I could sit smelling for hours on end. It smells of strawberry jam which reminds me of a Jammy Dodger and I absolutely love Jammy Dodgers!! The smell translates to the skin and lingers. It is such a beautiful fruity, sweet scent. It is an addictive smell and I promise you that you will wash your hands so much more just so you can get your fix of strawberry jam! The design of the cookie soap is brilliant, it is made to look as though it has marshmallow and jam in the middle, of course all of which is soap! The bumps on both sides of the cookie soap also act as a good massage bar. This soap looks and smells good enough to eat and I have had to restrain from biting in to it! As a soap, the lather is brilliant and it leaves your hands feeling super soft, massaged (from the bumps), smelling fruity and not at all dry or sticky. The cookie soap sells for £2.29.

The amount of love and care that has gone into making these soaps is unbelievable. Some of the designs must take a long time to perfect. I cannot fault any of the soaps that I have tried from this small business and I think they are all great value for money. They are all very high quality and it is clear that a lot of work has gone into making each and every one. There are so many different soaps to choose from and not forgetting aroma beads. The lady at 'Handmade Soaps And Aroma Beads' is very friendly and will always answer any questions you have swiftly.

Please take a look at this wonderful business and help support small businesses in the UK.

'Handmade Soaps And Aroma Beads' currently have an offer on. If you spend £15 then you will get FREE delivery to anywhere in the UK AND a FREE gift!!!!

My Wishlist! :-)

Hey guys,

I think it is very important to have a wishlist each month! I especially love it when I buy an item from my wishlist and I get to tick it off :-) It gives me such a great feeling! I thought it was about time I shared my wishlist with you guys! Especially since it is my Birthday on the 21st of August so you never know, they might all be ticked off by the end of the month!

 1) YSL Glossy Stain (Shade 7) - I currently have one of the L'Oreal Glam Shine Stain Splash but they don't have much of a colour selection! I absolutely love my Glam Shine Stain and if they had a bigger selection then I wouldn't think twice about getting another! YSL have so many colours to choose from and I must admit I do want to compare the two to see if they are any different (Mainly due to people saying they are a great dupe). After all, L'Oreal and YSL are part of the same group.

2) Soap & Glory Products - Butter Yourself, The Breakfast Scrub, Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser, Smooch Operator Lip Butter Balm - As you know from my previous review post I am absolutely mad for Soap & Glory products, if I could buy all of the products I would, but after spending ages looking at the Boots website I finally narrowed it down to a top 4! Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser is in my top 4, purely because I have nearly run out of my current cleanser. Same with The Breakfast Scrub, I have almost used all of my current Soap & Glory Scrub 'Em And Leave 'Em. Body Buff so I fancy trying a different scrub. The Smooch Operator Lip Butter Balm and The Butter Yourself are just products that I would really like to try! Let's hope someone buys me some S&G for my birthday!

3) Pixi Glow Tonic - I have recently heard skincare expert and blogger Caroline Hirons talk about this amazing product! It is completely hand made, hand packaged and contains only natural ingredients. It is oil free, alcohol free and very heavy in Aloe Vera, Ginseng and Witch Hazel. It works as a chemical exfoliant to clear away dead skin cells and also tones, firms and softens the skin. I have heard many good things about this product so I know I will purchase it in the near future, especially when my current toner runs out! Unfortunately, it is only available through mail order, by contacting 0207 287 7211 or emailing storemanager@pixibeauty.com

4) Revlon PhotoReady Primer & Shadow - I love getting new eye products all the time and this compact looks perfect! You get a primer, 3 shadows and a sparkle top coat. I love the idea that you can choose between whether you wear the shadows matte or shimmery! The colour selection that appeals to me is Metropolitan but the compact comes in 4 other colour selections. If the shadows are pigmented and easy to work with/blend then this compact will be great value for money!

5) Essie Summer Nail Polish Collection - There are 6 different colours in this collection, Full Steam Ahead, Rock The Boat, More The Merrier, Naughty Nautical, Girls Are Out & Sunday Funday. I would like all of the colours out of this collection but at £7.99 they are a bit expensive to buy them all in one go! IF I had to choose three shades to have then I would choose, Naughty Nautical which is a lovely turquoisy shade, Sunday Funday which is a gorgeous pinky red shade and More The Merrier which is a lime green type shade. I have a few Essie polishes and I love how they apply so they are great value for the price. All the colours in the collection are beautiful and I would class them all as being very wearable! They are perfect Summer colours and since I haven't bought a new nail polish in over 2 weeks I think I should purchase them some time soon!!

To check out the products, please click on the underlined product names!

There we go guys, my wishlist for this month. Hopefully with it being my Birthday very soon I will get some of these products and the ones I don't get I will definitely be purchasing soon!

Are any of these products on your wishlist? Have you tried any of these products already? Let me know your thoughts and comment below!

Soap & Glory Body Butter Review

Hi Guys,

Today I have two Soap & Glory products to talk about. First of all I have the Soap & Glory Righteous Body Butter 300ml and secondly I have the Soap & Glory Daily Smooth Body Butter 250ml.

I absolutely love all the Soap & Glory products and I especially love both of these body butters! I think they are great value for money and last for ages! And to make them even more appealing, Soap & Glory do not test on Animals!

The Righteous Body Butter contains Aloe Vera and Shea Butter to make your skin especially smooth and soft. The smell is absolutely AMAZING! I cannot describe what it smells of other than Bergamot ( The scent I would associate with Soap & Glory) I am addicted to anything that has Bergamot in it. Soap & Glory say that the scent contains aroma's of leafy greens, bergamot and mandarin, with a floral and fruity edge followed by soft, sexy, musk, oakmoss, amber and woody notes. The scent lingers for a very long time which is great! I love how this product applies to the skin and how little product you need. It rubs in so easily yet the formula is so thick, creamy and smooth to give you a perfect velvety finish. Soap & Glory compare it to wearing velvet! It advises on the back of the pot to use it on damp skin after showering but personally I use it any time of the day! I think they recommend to use it on damp skin because the formula is so thick. I particularly like using this product on my feet, elbows and knees as it seems to hydrate them instantly and the hydrated feeling lasts until you next shower! I tend to stick to using this on the dryer parts of my body and I use the Daily Smooth over the rest of my body. It can be used all over the body though, its just me being greedy again and wanting to use more than one product! You also get a massive 300ml of product! I have had this since Christmas and I am still yet to use the whole pot up! It retails for £10.50 which I think is exceptionally good value compared to other body butters on the market.

The Daily Smooth is one of my main staple products and something that I use on a daily basis. It contains the same scent as the 'Mist You Madly' body spray, another scent that I absolutely love! If you haven't smelt this before then I can only describe it as very floral and fragrant, once again it contains Bergamot. Maybe this is the reason I love all of the Soap & Glory products! I would also class the scent as very flirty! As I've mentioned before, Scent is one of the most important factors to me when I am buying beauty products! As stated above, the scent also lingers with this product! I don't think I have used a Soap & Glory product where the scent doesn't stick around for a very long time. This product is great at combating dry skin and leaving your whole body feeling hydrated, smooth and soft. It contains rosehip seed oil and cocoa butter so you know you are going to get great results! What is great about this product is that once you have massaged it all in to your body it doesn't leave a sticky wet residue behind so you can get dressed almost instantly and because you have to massage the product in to your skin, it gives you a great excuse to spend time massaging! Once again, you only need a tiny amount to moisturise your whole body as the formula is quite thick and creamy. This product is also great value, it retails for £9 and I have the current bottle for over 3 months now - using it everyday!

Top marks go to Soap & glory! Not just for these two products but for every product they have ever made! I have lots of products from them and they never fail to disappoint!

Another thing to note is that currently all the Soap & Glory range is on offer for 3 for 2 at Boots! To take a look at the current promotion, please click HERE.

I know I will be going and buying more Soap & Glory soon!

Let me know if you would like me to review more Soap & Glory products!

Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser Review

Hey Guys,

I have been using the Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser for 3 months now and I am on my second bottle! This comes in two forms - one for dry skin (Which is the one I use) and one for normal skin. It also comes in a small and large size - I have the large one here (and a few samples that the kind people at Nivea sent me).

I absolutely love this product and I wouldn't be without it now! All you have to do is wash normally with your shower gel, rinse off and then apply this as you would your normal moisturiser. The only difference is that you have to rinse this off after you have applied it. Personally, I apply it and then wait 5 minutes before washing it off. I find this is the best way as it gives the product time to work to its full potential. The main reason I love this product is due to the fact that I am lazy! It takes me ages to moisturise my whole body with moisturiser and then you have to wait for yourself to dry fully before you can get dressed and get on with your day. Once you have used this, you do not need to use a normal moisturiser. You can get out of the shower and go.

The product is quickly absorbed by the skin (but like I say, I like to wait 5 minutes) and it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth instantly! The hydrating factor of this product is AMAZING and the product doesn't leave any sticky residue behind. The smell of the product is the smell I would associate with all Nivea products - It is a very fresh scent and even though the product is rinsed off, the smell lingers. This product works better than some of the normal moisturisers that I have used before!

I do have quite dry skin at times and this has helped to keep my skin smooth all the time! I use this every other day and then I use a body butter in between. This is only because I cannot devote myself to one product alone! I love to try new things all of the time!

It can be used on a daily basis and I estimate that the large size when used every day and moisturising the whole body would easily last a month.

The small size is 250ml and retails for £3.55 and the large size is 400ml and retails for £5.09 - I have however come across a really good deal at Superdrug. The small size is currently selling for £2.36 and the large for £3.39. What better time to try it! Please click on the highlighted links below to take a look at the current offer.

Let me know if you have tried this product and what you thought!

My 10 Favourites Of The Week.

Hi Guys,

As promised, here are my favourites of the week! I like to change the products that I use quite often as I like to try new things all the time. But these products are products that I will definitely be using again in the future and I will be using them until they run out :-)

Body Shop Moringa Body Butter - I absolutely adore this product! It smells wonderful and leaves my skin feeling so smooth for the whole day! The smell lingers for the day too which is brilliant as it is such a nice scent! I love all of the Body Shop butters but this is my all time favourite and the one that I keep buying & buying! At the moment, The Body Shop have all of their body butters at half price! So what a perfect reason to treat yourself :-)

Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel - Onve again, I buy this product purely for the scent! There is something about the Moringa scent that has me hooked!! And as with the body butter, the smell lingers! They do a smaller size of this too for £2 which is great if you want to try before buying the larger size!

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara - This has been my daily mascara for as long as I care to remember! It is brilliant and makes my lashes thicker, longer & more visible with no clumping or gaps. I love the brush that comes with this too, it is a spoon brush and makes applying so much easier by applying the correct amount of product and not getting it all over your face!

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Polish - I love love love this colour! It is such a summery colour and one that will be on my toes for most of the summer! And the ultra glossy finish is AMAZING! These polishes are brilliant and for only £3.99 it's an absolute steal! Check out my full review here.

Superdrug Fruit Source Shea Butter & Bamboo Shower Cream - The smell of this makes me want to eat this product instead of apply it to my body! Smell is one of the most important factors when I am choosing beauty products and this definitely passes the smell test! It has a lovely lather and leaves your skin feeling really soft! At the moment this is on offer for 89p at Superdrug!

MUA Eyeshadow Pearl In Shade 24 - This has to be one of my favourite eyeshadows. It is super pigmented, doesn't crease, is easy to blend and work with and lasts all day without a primer! And it only costs £1! This is amazing value for a product of such high standard! I love the colour of this single, its a deep plummy, purple shade and looks beautiful on the eye. I like to wear this blended in to a light cream shade, forming a slight smokey eye. The MUA single eyeshadows come in 34 different shades so there are plenty to choose from!

Organic Surge Blissful Daily Moisturiser - This is a brilliant moisturiser that I use on a daily basis! I mainly use this product under my makeup or before bed. The scent took me a while to get use to as it is quite citrusy but the product leaves your skin feeling super soft & hydrated for hours!!! You can tell a difference in your skin almost instantly. It doesn't make you look really shiny either, so for those days with no makeup this can just be worn alone. I have been using the same pot of this for over 3 months now and I use it everyday, this just shows how little product you need! And don't forget, all the ingredients are organic! Check out my full review here.

Bed Head By Tigi After Party - I have been using this for over 2 years now. It is great for when I straighten my hair as it smooths down all the little fly away hairs without making your hair greasy! It smells lovely too which is an added bonus!

Colgate Max White One In Fresh - I don't know if I have told you all before but my day job is as a Dental Nurse, so teeth are very important to me! This product gently whitens your teeth up to one shade whiter in one week whilst also having all the power and effects of a great toothpaste! It comes in two flavours, I found the flavour Fresh to be the nicest and leave the nicest taste in your mouth after brushing. This is the toothpaste I would recommend to anyone who wants to brighten their smile as it is gentle enough to use everyday whilst still removing any staining! This will not whiten your teeth as such but it removes staining to get your teeth to their natural colour.

OPI Nail Lacquer In 'Are We There Yet?' - I am a big fan of OPI, I love the formula of all their polishes and the colour range is spectacular. This is my favourite polish this week. I love the colour on both my fingers and toes and the staying power is amazing! With a top coat, this can last well over a week! Check out my full review here.

So there we go guys, 10 weekly favourites of mine! Let me know if you would like to see any of these products reviewed in depth!

I have linked all of the products to sites where I feel the best deal is but this isn't to say there aren't other offers and other places where you can get them all from! (Just click on the name of the product)

Crown Brushes

Hey Guys,

I have recently been looking for some new make-up brushes - I thought it was about time I treated myself to some good quality brushes that will last well! The main ones that I was looking for were eye shadow & eye liner brushes. I do already have quite a few different types of eye brushes but none that I would class as being good quality. I did also purchase a few other brushes as I couldn't help myself!

I have heard many good things about Crown Brushes in the past but I have never got round to ordering anything before now!

The first thing I noticed once I logged onto the Crown Brushes web page was how easy the whole site is to use! I don't know about you, but, if I can use the site then I am more likely to place an order than if I have to play around for ages looking for things! Everything is organised into the categories of brushes and they really sell every brush you could ever imagine!!! They really do have something for everyone! From starter brushes for as little as 99p to professional brushes that pro make-up artists use! They do individual brushes or brush sets, they also sell make-up palettes, accessories & disposable make-up tools, so seriously, whatever you are looking for you are sure to find it on this site!

Crown Brushes are known for their high quality products at amazingly reasonable prices and I just cannot wait for my order to be delivered! Another positive is that postage is only £2.99 and I have been told that the delivery is very very quick!

I will be doing a full review on the brushes once I receive them. I already know that I won't be disappointed though!

Here is a list of the brushes (and links) that I have purchased:

B23 Square Fluff - A square fluffy shadow brush used for application & blending - £2.19
BK30 Badger Blending Fluff - A round fluffy brush used for application on the lid & blending - £3.39
BK17 Deluxe Round Angle Stippler - Angled brush for blending - £4.79
BK38 Deluxe Crease - Used for blending or for light application across the lid or socket - £3.69
C139 Stiff Tapered Crease - A stiff tapered brush used for crease work - £3.09
C160 1/4" Angle Liner - An angled brush for applying eye liner - £2.39
BK41 White Taklon Square - A flat brush used to line and define the eye - £2.39
C105 Tapered Blush - A blush tapered blush brush for shading & highlighting - £5.39
C104 Angle Blush - An angled contour brush - £5.79
CLS150-0 Flat Taklon Camo - To be used for concealer - £1.00

The brushes I have chosen are from a mixture of different ranges, although, I would say that most of them are the low-mid range so brushes can be found cheaper or more expensive than the ones I have picked out.

If you would like to take a look at Crown Brushes then please take a look! I am sure you will fall in love with the products just as much as I have :-)
