Face Mask Of The Week...

This week my skin has taken quite a beating. What with all the crying and generally feeling very down (Click HERE to find out why) my skin has in return provided me with a few blemishes and dry patches.

I usually carry out a facemask every week on a Saturday/Sunday but since I had a terrible time at the weekend I just didn't have time. Due to this, I thought I would give my skin an extra treat today and use the Montagne Jeunesse Hot Chocolate Pore Cleansing Sauna Masque.

This is a new mask from Montagne Jeunesse and is self heating and deep pore cleansing. It contains Mediterranean clay to cleanse out any dirt and oil from deep within your pores and rich dark chocolate and orange oil to leave your skin soft and smooth.

Before I applied the mask I fully cleansed my face with my Organic Surge Gentle Cleansing Lotion.

When I opened the packet I immediately noticed the smell, it smells just like Terry's Chocolate Orange and is absolutely divine! I had to restrain myself from licking it, that's how good it smells!

I applied the mask all over my face and under my chin paying particular attention to the areas where I have blemishes. As soon as the mask touched my face the self heating action began, it did feel as though your face was in a sauna, it was hot enough to enjoy the sensation without feeling as though your skin is burning and the warm feeling lasted until I washed the mask off. The heating element helps to open the pores and clear out any impurities.

After applying all over my face, there was enough in the packet to do another application so my mum applied the mask too - I love this about the Montagne Jeunesse masks, most of them come with enough product for two applications, perfect for having a girly pamper day!

The consistency of the product is perfect, it isn't at all sticky and gloopy and it's thin enough to easily apply but also thick enough so that it doesn't drip from your face or make a mess whilst applying.

Because of the heating element, this mask doesn't set, so your not stuck trying not to talk or move your face for 15 minutes! Perfect if like me you love talking!!

The instructions recommend leaving on for 10-15 minutes but I always leave on for an extra 5 minutes. When it came to washing it off, it easily wiped away with hot water and a muslin cloth (a flannel or any face cloth you have would do the same). My skin immediately felt refreshed and very clean! It looked more radiant and my blemishes and dry patches weren't as noticeable. It generally looked in better condition. On top of that, my skin felt very soft and smooth. Although it felt clean it didn't feel tight unlike after using some face masks, there was also no residue left behind.

After patting my face dry I completed my night time routine (Click HERE) and finished by applying a small layer of Organic Surge Blissful Daily Moisturiser all over my face.

I don't usually get any more blemishes after using facemasks but I know that some people can get a bad breakout a few days after due to all the impurities being drawn out, just something to be aware of. They do usually clear up as quick as they came though and leave your skin in a much better, clearer condition afterwards.

What I love about the Montagne Jeunesse range is that they are all vegetarian friendly - they only use natural products and they don't test on animals! Perfect for everyone!! This face mask and most of the others in the range are £1 and can be bought from most Pharmacies & Supermarkets or from the Montagne Jeunesse website (Click HERE)- I personally bought mine from Asda.. Click HERE. Asda currently have an offer and the Montagne Jeunesse range where you can buy 4 face masks for £3.

What is your favourite facemask? Can you recommend another type from the Montagne Jeunesse range?

My Night Time Skincare Routine.

I was asked by one of my followers to do a post on my 'Night Time Skincare Routine' and since I love reading other peoples, I thought I would share mine!

As most of you will already know, I like to change the products I use on a regular basis, mainly due to the fact that I like to try new things. These products in this routine are just the products that I am using and enjoying at the moment. The routine always stays the same, its just the products that change now and again.

(Click on the product names to view the products on the websites you can buy them from)

Lets start right at the beginning...

First of all I get into my PJ's - I love my PJ's, I am just so much more comfortable and feel like I can really chill out with them on.

I then tie my hair up and pin my fringe back, ready to start pampering!

I usually sit/lay down on my bed for about 5 minutes just to relax, sometimes I drink a cup of tea and check emails on my phone.

Once I have relaxed for 5 minutes, its time to take out my contact lenses. It is such a nice feeling at the end of a long day to get them out.. especially when I'm tired!

I then get my Organic Surge Gentle Cleansing Lotion and squirt a small amount into the palm of my hand. I rub this between both hands for a while and then apply all over my face, including my eye lids. Using large cotton pads I then wipe away the cleansing lotion from my face. With two new cotton pads I place one over each eye and gently rub until all the eye makeup is gone. I take another squirt of cleanser and repeat the above, just to make sure all my makeup has gone!

I like to wash my face with a face wash after cleansing, just to make sure my face is super clean. I use the Organic Surge Daily Care Face Wash. I first dampen my face using a muslin cloth and pump 2 pumps of the face wash into the palm of my hand, I rub this between both hands and then apply all over my face, including the eye area and massage into my skin until a lather has formed. I soak my muslin cloth in hot water (hot enough to tolerate), wring it out and lay over my face for approx. 2 minutes. This helps to open the pores and clean any impurities out. I remove the face wash using the muslin cloth after the two minutes and splash cold water all over the face to close my pores. I dry my face with a hand towel.

I apply a small amount of Manuka Doctor ApiClear Facial Toner to a large cotton pad and sweep over the face. I particularly like this toner because it helps to eliminate the cause of blemishes and provide a clearer complexion. Although I don't get a lot of blemishes, when I do, they seem to last quite a while. Since I have been using this toner I have noticed that I get even less blemishes than normal and when I do get them they are gone within a few days.

If I have any blemishes at the time then I use an Avon Clearskin Professional Clarifying Toner Pad to help sooth and refresh the skin, followed by applying a small amount of the Avon Clearskin Professional Daily Correcting Lotion to the affected area to help minimise pores, control oil and prevent/eliminate blemishes. The Avon Clearskin range works very well for me when I do have blemishes and unlike some 'spot treatments' I find the Avon range doesn't dry my skin out.

I then apply my moisturiser, I change moisturisers quite often, depending on the condition of my skin. If my skin is particularly oily then I use Clarins Ultra Matte Rebalancing Lotion For Oily Skin, this moisturiser contains an anti shine formula and instantly mattifies the skin whilst still providing hydration and soothing/calming any redness. A cheaper alternative that I sometimes use is the Superdrug Simply Pure Mattifying Moisturiser - This is specifically designed for combination skin and can be used on the most sensitive of skin too! It instantly mattifies the skin whilst hydrating without clogging your pores. If my skin is feeling dry and in need of moisture then I use Johnsons Rehydrating Night Cream For Normal Skin which helps to replenish moisture that has been lost during the day and hydrate your skin overnight. Another favourite of mine is the Organic Surge Blissful Daily Moisturiser which is ideal for normal or combination skin. It is very lightweight and helps to rebalance the skins condition whether that be oily or dry. I mainly use this on the days my skin doesn't know what it wants to do.

After applying my moisturiser I wait 10 minutes to let is soak in fully, whilst this is happening I make myself a cup of tea or hot chocolate and usually check Facebook or Twitter on my phone. When 10 minutes is up I apply Burt's Bees Radiance Eye Cream. This eye cream is brilliant for reducing puffiness and smoothing fine lines and leaves the eye area looking much more radiant, smooth and hydrated.

Apart from the products changing now and again I stick to this routine and find that it works really well for me!

At the weekend, I carry out a weekly DIY luxury spa each week, I spend time using a facemask/eye mask and generally give my skin a weekly treat using luxurious, indulgent products. I normally combine this with a bubble bath, body scrub and hair mask. I don't normally have time to do this during the week and I usually shower every morning, so when I do get chance to have a bath, I make the most of every second and really treat my body! My weekend DIY spa is my 'Me Time' for the week.

Top 5 Cleansers - From Budget To Splurge.

Now I know I have been a way for a while (find out why HERE)  but I am finally back and what a great way to start with 'My Top 5 Cleansers'. I have picked 5 cleansers that are my all time favourites and products that I continue to go back to. Some of the cleansers are budget friendly and others no so much, there really is something for everyone. They are in no particular order, I like them all just as much! Click on the cleanser names to view where to buy.

1) Organic Surge Gentle Cleansing Lotion 200ml - This is one of the best Organic cleansers that I have ever tried. It removes every trace of makeup and dirt, even the most stubborn of waterproof mascara. It leaves the skin feeling very clean, refreshed and hydrated. I love how gentle it is on the skin and it contains Chamomile so if you have any sore red blemishes it soothes and helps to take any redness/inflammation away. It also contains organic rosemary and lemon essential oils which gives the lotion a very nice citrus scent. I notice a great difference in the condition of my skin after using this, it generally feels fresher, brighter and hydrated. It also helps to keep any blemishes away which is a big plus for me. This is currently for sale at £5.99 from the Organic Surge Website.

2) Olay Gentle Cleansing Conditioning Milk 200ml - This is a great budget cleanser that is kind enough to the skin to be used on a daily basis. It is a cleansing milk rather than a lotion, therefore it is thin is consistency so doesn't leave any residue behind. You also only need a small amount due to the thin consistency. It is specifically designed to remove excess oil, makeup and dirt from the face. This cleanser is brilliant for my combination skin and when I use this I do notice a reduction in the amount of oil my skin produces in the day. It is also great at removing all traces of makeup and not much work is required to remove even waterproof makeup. It leaves the skin feeling clean and soft. It is currently for sale at Superdrug for £2.99 (it is also currently included in a BOGOF promotion!)

3) Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser - This cleanser is gentle enough to use day and night each day yet it is concentrated enough to remove stubborn makeup and all impurities from the skin. It has been formulated to be used on any skin type which is great if you want to share with a sister, friend or mother. Because it is a hot cloth cleanser it encourages you to wash your face afterwards which is brilliant. The main reason I like using a cleansing lotion or milk is because you have to wash your face after use, meaning no impurities or dead skin cells stay on the skin or clog up your pores. I particularly like leaving the hot muslin cloth over my face for a couple of minutes to open my pores even more and give myself a kind of 'steam treatment'. You only require a small amount of this cleanser so it lasts for ages. It removes all makeup, even stubborn makeup and leaves your skin feeling super clean, refreshed and smooth. I use this cleanser as a treat for my skin as it is very luxurious and rich, leaving your skin feeling like you've had a facial! I notice a huge difference in the condition of my skin and the amount of blemishes I get when using this. It contains Eucalyptus and Cocoa Butter to smooth and calm the skin. This cleanser also doesn't contain any mineral oils and it completely plant based. When you buy the Cleanse & Polish you also receive the muslin cloths to use. Liz Earle currently do all different sizes of this product, ranging from £3.25 for the smallest and £14.75 for the largest size. Click HERE.

4) Garnier Clean & Soft Complete Cleansing Milk 200ml - This cleanser smells amazing! It contains rose extract so it is a very floral scent but it is lovely. It gently removes all makeup, dirt and impurities and leaves the skin feels clean, soft and very fresh. It is thin in consistency so not much is required meaning one bottle lasts for ages. It is also gentle enough to use on a daily basis. It removes even stubborn makeup without much effort at all. I found that it also has a soothing and calming effect on any red areas. Like I have stated above, I have combination skin and I also found that this cleanser helped with oil control if used in the morning before applying any makeup. This is currently for sale in Superdrug for £2.03 which is a saving of £1.02 - Click HERE

5) No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser 200ml - Just like the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish this is a luxurious, indulgent cleanser that leaves your skin feeling like you have had a day in the spa. The only difference is that the muslin cloth included with this cleanser is used to gently exfoliate the skin and stimulate circulation. It removes all makeup and impurities with ease and leaves the skin feeling revived, fresh and very clean. It doesn't leave any residue behind after using. It does have a soothing effect to the skin and when I use this I do feel like my skin is in much better condition and much more hydrated. I usually alternate this with the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish and use it as a weekly treat when I apply a face mask and give myself a facial. You can find this in Boots for £9.95, click HERE. currently selected No7 products are in a 3 for 2 offer and this is included.

Have you tried any of these cleansers? What is your favourite cleanser? Can you recommend any more hot cloth ones I could try?

Cheap DIY Beauty Products

Hey Guys,

I have recently been trying out some amazing DIY recipes for beauty products and I thought I would share my top 3!

The beauty about making your own products is that you know exactly what you are putting into them and there are no harsh chemicals. I love making my own products, it gives me strange feeling of satisfaction to know I have used products I've had laying around the house.

1) My favourite has to be making your own sugar scrub! I recently run out of my Soap & Glory Scrub 'Em And Leave 'Em and I haven't had chance to go out and buy a replacement yet. Exfoliating is very important to me as it clears away all dead skin cells, clears clogged pores and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth!
All you need to make your own sugar scrub is sugar and oil. You can use salt if you prefer but sugar is my preferred choice as it is a lot kinder on the skin, salt tends to tear the skin. For the oil, you can use any oil you have in the house.. baby oil, vegetable, olive, coconut, sunflower and the list goes on. My favourite is baby oil.
To make the scrub, you need 2 tablespoons of sugar to 1 tablespoon of oil - I made a whole container full, but as long as you stick to the 2 sugar to 1 oil ratio you will end up with a lovely sugar scrub. You can even make your scrub smell nice by adding a couple of drops of essential oil.

2) Another important product to me is face masks. I like to use a face mask at least once a week and for the past couple of weeks I have been experimenting making my own. The following recipe is so simple yet it leaves your skin feeling absolutely amazing!
To make this amazing mask you need 2 eggs and 2 tablespoons of plain yoghurt. (It is really important that you do not use flavoured yoghurt). Separate the eggs so that you have whites and yolks .. we only need to use the whites for this face mask. Add the 2 tablespoons of plain yoghurt to the whites and mix using a fork - I like to use a fork as I feel it mixes better. Apply the mixture to the face and leave for at least 10 minutes. When you are ready to wash it off use warm water and a wash cloth. Your skin will be left feeling fresh & regenerated.

3) My final DIY beauty product is a DIY hair mask recipe. As it is summer I have been treating my hair once a week to a hair mask. I have noticed such a difference in the condition of my hair and hair masks have now become a staple product for me. When I came across this recipe on the internet I thought why not give it a go. It really is very simple! To make this mask, mix 4 tablespoons of coconut oil with 4 tablespoons of avocado oil. For shorter hair, I would only use 2 tablespoons of each oil. Once you have mixed the oils together apply all over your hair and leave for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, rinse it off and you will be left with shiny smooth perfect locks! After using this DIY mask for 2 weeks I am very impressed! It is just as good as the shop bought products so its definitely worth giving a go. You can buy both of the oils from Ebay.. coconut oil from HERE for £2.95 for 500mls and avocado oil from HERE for £2.49 for 100mls - Ebay is such a great place! Both these oils can also be used for many other things.

Why not treat yourself to a DIY Spa Day at home! Use these recipes, pick up a magazine, listen to some music, put some scented candles on and chill out. What a perfect way to treat you hair & skin this summer and have some important ME time that so many of us forget to have!

Let me know if you have any other great recipes!

Soap & Glory Body Butter Review

Hi Guys,

Today I have two Soap & Glory products to talk about. First of all I have the Soap & Glory Righteous Body Butter 300ml and secondly I have the Soap & Glory Daily Smooth Body Butter 250ml.

I absolutely love all the Soap & Glory products and I especially love both of these body butters! I think they are great value for money and last for ages! And to make them even more appealing, Soap & Glory do not test on Animals!

The Righteous Body Butter contains Aloe Vera and Shea Butter to make your skin especially smooth and soft. The smell is absolutely AMAZING! I cannot describe what it smells of other than Bergamot ( The scent I would associate with Soap & Glory) I am addicted to anything that has Bergamot in it. Soap & Glory say that the scent contains aroma's of leafy greens, bergamot and mandarin, with a floral and fruity edge followed by soft, sexy, musk, oakmoss, amber and woody notes. The scent lingers for a very long time which is great! I love how this product applies to the skin and how little product you need. It rubs in so easily yet the formula is so thick, creamy and smooth to give you a perfect velvety finish. Soap & Glory compare it to wearing velvet! It advises on the back of the pot to use it on damp skin after showering but personally I use it any time of the day! I think they recommend to use it on damp skin because the formula is so thick. I particularly like using this product on my feet, elbows and knees as it seems to hydrate them instantly and the hydrated feeling lasts until you next shower! I tend to stick to using this on the dryer parts of my body and I use the Daily Smooth over the rest of my body. It can be used all over the body though, its just me being greedy again and wanting to use more than one product! You also get a massive 300ml of product! I have had this since Christmas and I am still yet to use the whole pot up! It retails for £10.50 which I think is exceptionally good value compared to other body butters on the market.

The Daily Smooth is one of my main staple products and something that I use on a daily basis. It contains the same scent as the 'Mist You Madly' body spray, another scent that I absolutely love! If you haven't smelt this before then I can only describe it as very floral and fragrant, once again it contains Bergamot. Maybe this is the reason I love all of the Soap & Glory products! I would also class the scent as very flirty! As I've mentioned before, Scent is one of the most important factors to me when I am buying beauty products! As stated above, the scent also lingers with this product! I don't think I have used a Soap & Glory product where the scent doesn't stick around for a very long time. This product is great at combating dry skin and leaving your whole body feeling hydrated, smooth and soft. It contains rosehip seed oil and cocoa butter so you know you are going to get great results! What is great about this product is that once you have massaged it all in to your body it doesn't leave a sticky wet residue behind so you can get dressed almost instantly and because you have to massage the product in to your skin, it gives you a great excuse to spend time massaging! Once again, you only need a tiny amount to moisturise your whole body as the formula is quite thick and creamy. This product is also great value, it retails for £9 and I have the current bottle for over 3 months now - using it everyday!

Top marks go to Soap & glory! Not just for these two products but for every product they have ever made! I have lots of products from them and they never fail to disappoint!

Another thing to note is that currently all the Soap & Glory range is on offer for 3 for 2 at Boots! To take a look at the current promotion, please click HERE.

I know I will be going and buying more Soap & Glory soon!

Let me know if you would like me to review more Soap & Glory products!

MUA - My Favourite Products From The Brand

Hi Guys,

Since I have been buying a lot of MUA products recently to try out (because they are so cheap!) I thought I would do a blog post on my favourite products from the MUA brand! I have done reviews on a few of these products already but this is a summary. I have linked all of the products so you can click on them to have a look :-)

1) Cover & Conceal Wand - This has to be one of my favourite MUA products at the moment. I use this on a daily basis to cover blemishes and dark circles under my eyes. I have the shade fair but it does also come it two other shades - natural & almond. The formula is very lightweight yet it covers any flaws completely whilst still looking natural! It is long lasting and doesn't crease whilst wearing. I would not be without this product! It is one of the best concealers I have ever used and at just £1.50 its a steal!

2) Matte Perfect Loose Translucent Powder (Click HERE for full review) - This is a good shine control loose powder! I don't use this on a daily basis but I do use it for the days where my skin is extra shiny. I have combination skin so day to day my skin varies. As long as you apply just the right amount and not too much then this product is brilliant! It does state that it keeps the shine away for the whole day but since I suffer with quite oily skin at times I found that I did have to reapply a few times throughout the day. It sets your foundation, eliminating any oil whilst still letting just enough of a dewy glow shine through. It is very finely milled which means that it disappears and absorbs all oil/shine so you can't tell you have a powder on. This costs £2.30 on the MUA website.

3) Trio Of Eyeshadows In Shade Innocence - This eye trio is amazing! The eyeshadows are super super pigmented, so easy to work with and easy to blend. You would not think that this eyeshadow was from a drugstore brand. The staying power is unbelievable! I don't have to wear an eye primer as it lasts all day without smudging or creasing. This trio has three neutral shades - Cream, light brown & dark brown meaning it is great for creating a neutral smoky eye! All from the same trio! These are the colours that I tend to wear on a daily basis and at the moment the trio is in the sale for £1.25 - that's £1.25 for 3.. yes 3 eyeshadows!! Even at full price this product is amazing value.

4) Fashionista Double Take Lipstick - I have this lipstick in shade 3 - Babydoll Pink. It is just as it sounds and is a baby pink colour. The colour makes me feel very happy when I look at it. The lipstick is very pigmented, creamy on application and very hydrating on the lips, however, the finish is matte! I didn't know this when I bought the product as I don't usually like matte lipsticks but this has changed my views completely. This is not drying to the lips at all! It still manages to feel hydrating and creamy whilst being completely matte! There are 10 shades in this range, so if baby pink isn't your thing there are others to choose. This has being hugely discounted on the MUA website. It was originally £7, then it was reduced to £3 and now it is only a mere £1.50! What a bargain!

5) Lipstick (Full review can be found HERE ) - I have a variety of shades in this product range. My favourites are; Shade 5, Shade 7 & Shade 14. Altogether, they have 16 shades in this collection and I am sure by the end of the year I will have accumulated all 16. Once again, these lipsticks are super pigmented and I love applying it, It is so creamy and feels amazing on the lips! The smell of the product is very sweet and vanillary, it is quite a nice scent! They do stay on the lips for a decent amount of time, a lot longer than I expected them to. The finish is very glossy but the amount of product needed depends on the colour of the lipstick and the finish you want to achieve. You can pick these lipsticks up for £1 each. What an absolute bargain! (The picture shows Shade 5)

6) Single Pearl Eyeshadow - I have quite a few different shades in this range but my favourites are; Shade 3, Shade 14 & Shade 24. These shadows are super pigmented  and the colour payoff is amazing! They come in a large pan and I am yet to reach pan on any of the shadows I have even when I use them every day. Application is smooth and the shadows are very workable, they are very easy to blend and I haven't experienced any fall out whilst using them. All of the shades I have are exceptionally long lasting without any smudging or creasing, even when a primer isn't used. When wearing these, my shadow looks the same when I go to take my makeup off as when I applied it. I particularly like shade 24 and I quite often wear this in the day time. The beauty of these shadows is that they are perfect for either night or day, they can be built up to achieve the look you want. There is also a matte range but I don't like this as much as the pearl range as they aren't as pigmented and easy to work with. These shadows are £1 - perfect, if you like experimenting! (The picture shows Shade 14).

Please let me know if you have enjoyed this post and if you would like me to do more brand favourites!

No7 Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser Review

Hi Guys!

I thought I would review one of my summer staple products for you today :-)
This is the No7 Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser and it is suitable for all skin types. It comes in three colour selections; fair, medium and tint fair/medium. I am very fair skinned but the shade I use is the tint fair/medium and the colour is a perfect match.

It is called 'Triple Protection' as it has the unique sun protective power of:

1) 5* UVA Technology
2) SPF 15
3) The No7 Patent Approved Antioxidant Complex

This unique formula helps to protect your skin from the ageing effects of the sun and the environment. On top of providing excellent sun protection, this Tinted Moisturiser also contains Hyaluronic Acid which provides 24hr skin hydration, Vitamins A&E and optical blurrers which keep you skin looking radiant and feeling well hydrated for the whole day.

When I first purchased this product I wasn't sure whether I would like it or not. I have tried a number of different Tinted Moisturisers and I have never really found them to be all that brilliant. Some of the ones I have tried in the past have also badly broken me out! That's why I was extremely surprised when I tried this and it didn't break me out, it left my skin feeling hydrated, smooth and added a hint of colour instantly! I really didn't expect it to have any coverage at all but this product does! It is very lightweight and sheer but it provides a light coverage - it does cover any minor blemishes and with a bit of concealer I find it provides just the right amount of coverage for those hot summer days.

The main reason I love this product is because as you all know by now, I am lazy :-) It is so easy to apply, I just dot it all over my face like I would a normal moisturiser and rub it in using my hands. It really is that simple. It blends beautifully so there is no need to buff it in with a brush. The finish is lovely, it doesn't feel sticky, cakey or heavy on the face and it doesn't leave you with an oily residue - looking really shiny! You can use a powder on top of this but I found that I didn't really need to use one until I had been out in the sun and then my T-zone was slightly shiny. I have combination skin so my skin can be oily at times but I haven't noticed much oil whilst using this Tinted Moisturiser. The hydrated, smooth feeling lasts all day which pleasantly surprised me as I really didn't expect it to. It really does feel as though you are wearing a high quality moisturiser.

The main thing that sold this product to me was the sun protection! During summer it is very important to me that my makeup contains an SPF - as mentioned before, I am very fair skinned and I burn very easily! The SPF in this product works very well. So far I haven't noticed any burning!

It is currently priced at £11.50 at Boots but it is on a special offer. If you buy one No7 product you get another one half price! I will definitely be stocking up whilst its on offer :-)

If you want to have a look at the current offer then please click the logo above ^ or the underlined text at the beginning of the post :-)

Have you used this product or do you use another Tinted Moisturiser? Let me know your thoughts :-) I love hearing from you and will reply when I can :-)

Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser Review

Hey Guys,

I have been using the Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser for 3 months now and I am on my second bottle! This comes in two forms - one for dry skin (Which is the one I use) and one for normal skin. It also comes in a small and large size - I have the large one here (and a few samples that the kind people at Nivea sent me).

I absolutely love this product and I wouldn't be without it now! All you have to do is wash normally with your shower gel, rinse off and then apply this as you would your normal moisturiser. The only difference is that you have to rinse this off after you have applied it. Personally, I apply it and then wait 5 minutes before washing it off. I find this is the best way as it gives the product time to work to its full potential. The main reason I love this product is due to the fact that I am lazy! It takes me ages to moisturise my whole body with moisturiser and then you have to wait for yourself to dry fully before you can get dressed and get on with your day. Once you have used this, you do not need to use a normal moisturiser. You can get out of the shower and go.

The product is quickly absorbed by the skin (but like I say, I like to wait 5 minutes) and it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth instantly! The hydrating factor of this product is AMAZING and the product doesn't leave any sticky residue behind. The smell of the product is the smell I would associate with all Nivea products - It is a very fresh scent and even though the product is rinsed off, the smell lingers. This product works better than some of the normal moisturisers that I have used before!

I do have quite dry skin at times and this has helped to keep my skin smooth all the time! I use this every other day and then I use a body butter in between. This is only because I cannot devote myself to one product alone! I love to try new things all of the time!

It can be used on a daily basis and I estimate that the large size when used every day and moisturising the whole body would easily last a month.

The small size is 250ml and retails for £3.55 and the large size is 400ml and retails for £5.09 - I have however come across a really good deal at Superdrug. The small size is currently selling for £2.36 and the large for £3.39. What better time to try it! Please click on the highlighted links below to take a look at the current offer.

Let me know if you have tried this product and what you thought!

My 10 Favourites Of The Week.

Hi Guys,

As promised, here are my favourites of the week! I like to change the products that I use quite often as I like to try new things all the time. But these products are products that I will definitely be using again in the future and I will be using them until they run out :-)

Body Shop Moringa Body Butter - I absolutely adore this product! It smells wonderful and leaves my skin feeling so smooth for the whole day! The smell lingers for the day too which is brilliant as it is such a nice scent! I love all of the Body Shop butters but this is my all time favourite and the one that I keep buying & buying! At the moment, The Body Shop have all of their body butters at half price! So what a perfect reason to treat yourself :-)

Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel - Onve again, I buy this product purely for the scent! There is something about the Moringa scent that has me hooked!! And as with the body butter, the smell lingers! They do a smaller size of this too for £2 which is great if you want to try before buying the larger size!

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara - This has been my daily mascara for as long as I care to remember! It is brilliant and makes my lashes thicker, longer & more visible with no clumping or gaps. I love the brush that comes with this too, it is a spoon brush and makes applying so much easier by applying the correct amount of product and not getting it all over your face!

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Polish - I love love love this colour! It is such a summery colour and one that will be on my toes for most of the summer! And the ultra glossy finish is AMAZING! These polishes are brilliant and for only £3.99 it's an absolute steal! Check out my full review here.

Superdrug Fruit Source Shea Butter & Bamboo Shower Cream - The smell of this makes me want to eat this product instead of apply it to my body! Smell is one of the most important factors when I am choosing beauty products and this definitely passes the smell test! It has a lovely lather and leaves your skin feeling really soft! At the moment this is on offer for 89p at Superdrug!

MUA Eyeshadow Pearl In Shade 24 - This has to be one of my favourite eyeshadows. It is super pigmented, doesn't crease, is easy to blend and work with and lasts all day without a primer! And it only costs £1! This is amazing value for a product of such high standard! I love the colour of this single, its a deep plummy, purple shade and looks beautiful on the eye. I like to wear this blended in to a light cream shade, forming a slight smokey eye. The MUA single eyeshadows come in 34 different shades so there are plenty to choose from!

Organic Surge Blissful Daily Moisturiser - This is a brilliant moisturiser that I use on a daily basis! I mainly use this product under my makeup or before bed. The scent took me a while to get use to as it is quite citrusy but the product leaves your skin feeling super soft & hydrated for hours!!! You can tell a difference in your skin almost instantly. It doesn't make you look really shiny either, so for those days with no makeup this can just be worn alone. I have been using the same pot of this for over 3 months now and I use it everyday, this just shows how little product you need! And don't forget, all the ingredients are organic! Check out my full review here.

Bed Head By Tigi After Party - I have been using this for over 2 years now. It is great for when I straighten my hair as it smooths down all the little fly away hairs without making your hair greasy! It smells lovely too which is an added bonus!

Colgate Max White One In Fresh - I don't know if I have told you all before but my day job is as a Dental Nurse, so teeth are very important to me! This product gently whitens your teeth up to one shade whiter in one week whilst also having all the power and effects of a great toothpaste! It comes in two flavours, I found the flavour Fresh to be the nicest and leave the nicest taste in your mouth after brushing. This is the toothpaste I would recommend to anyone who wants to brighten their smile as it is gentle enough to use everyday whilst still removing any staining! This will not whiten your teeth as such but it removes staining to get your teeth to their natural colour.

OPI Nail Lacquer In 'Are We There Yet?' - I am a big fan of OPI, I love the formula of all their polishes and the colour range is spectacular. This is my favourite polish this week. I love the colour on both my fingers and toes and the staying power is amazing! With a top coat, this can last well over a week! Check out my full review here.

So there we go guys, 10 weekly favourites of mine! Let me know if you would like to see any of these products reviewed in depth!

I have linked all of the products to sites where I feel the best deal is but this isn't to say there aren't other offers and other places where you can get them all from! (Just click on the name of the product)
